Entrance and Driveway Gates

Rattery Sawmill SW Ltd manufacture a wide range of timber Entrance and Driveway Gates in a variety of styles and sizes to suit any entrance.

All our gates are manufactured from Douglas Fir, which is grown locally in the South West or Wales. Douglas Fir is a very suitable wood for gates as it is subject to low shrinkage and has good stability. It is strong and elastic. The wood is also resistant against fungal and insect infestation and exhibits good natural durability when exposed to the elements.

We also treat all the wood used for making gates with Wolmanit CX-8F wood preservative, which is triple treated in our own on-site pressure treatment plant.
