All timber at Rattery sawmills is cut from the round logs that are delivered from local sustainable woodlands. The logs are graded to the customer's requirements and then precision cut by, firstly the Mebor primary saw and then the Steener bandrack, to give an consistent accuracy that is second to none.

All treated  timber is put through the treatment process 3 times making it suitable for all applications, above or below ground level. Processed material is then hand planed and moulded to give a very high quality , consistent product. This enables the customer to do any timber job with ease and quality of finish.

Timber can be cut to ANY SIZE, with bespoke cutting lists being a speciality of Rattery Sawmill.
